Sunday Spotlight and Our Trip to General Conference.

Barry and I had a great time in Utah last week. The nice people at Continental Airlines needed someone to bump and offered Barry 600 dollars to do so! We needed to use the ticket by this month so a few months ago we decided a trip to Conference would be a nice get-away for us both. It was exactly what we needed!
There is nothing like hearing the Choir in the Conference Center!!!
We spent some time with our nephews on both sides of the family, friends and my college roomate that I have not seen for 14 years!
We only had tickets for Sunday morning and Barry and Zach and Jordan had tickets to the Priesthood session.
We just really missed our kids! Conference weekend at home is a BIG deal for us. I spend hours in the kitchen cooking for the weekend, and we literally lay around the entire weekend. So it was sad not being there with them.
We are grateful they kept the fort down here and everything went smoothly so we could have a nice trip.

Now for our Sunday Spotlight... this week is one of the cutest kids EVER...
Carson Baughan!
This boy is a CUTIE PIE! He is quiet, and bashful and has the cutest laugh ever!

He is a great football and baseball player and he is QUICK! He is tough when it comes to playing sports. He is the third son of my brother Jonathan and his wife Lisa. He is one of 4 boys and they have 1 sister... who Carson is so sweet to.

We love Carson and look forward to watching him grow up to do great things!
