Grandpa Lindsey!

Lindsey, Barry and Tyler in Las Vegas at the Carolina game just days before
Tyler went into the MTC.

The Patriarch of this BIG family!

This week's spotlight is Lindsey, Barry's dad.
So Barry is helping with this one! Not that I couldn't say good things about him on my own, but I'm thinking Barry needs to get alittle more involved with this anyway!!!
He was the one that encouraged me to do this weekly anyway...

There are alot of great things we can say about this man. He is a great man!
He is a great family man and LOVES his family! He seems to always want to help and make sure his kids and grandkids are doing okay.
He was a high school teacher for his profession, but most known as the basketball coach, both boys and girls. He coached both his boys in high school(always being harder on them!) And he taught them in seminary too! He coached for 40 years and is admired by all his players.
He still hasn't slowed down any! He plays senior league softball and basketball and travels around on these teams. He teaches driver's ed, and still is very active.
I really can't imagine him ever slowing down.

Barry and Tyler both love going to ballgames with him and playing golf with him.
Tyler will choose his grandpa to go to ballgames with, sometimes over his friends.

I can't think of anytime in our married life that when Barry asked his dad for advice, or if he needed him to be at something, or needed something, that Lindsey didn't respond. He truly is always there when needed.

I love how he loves Barry's mom and how he loves the Lord.

I am grateful for Lindsey and the great example of a father he has been to Barry. Barry had someone wonderful to look up to, and to follow. I know he is the father he is today because of his dad!

We are grateful for you Lindsey and we love you Grandpa!!!

When we get pictures, we will introduce you to Mr. and Mrs. Dallin Page!
We had a wonderful weekend celebrating their marriage! More to come on that....
